Migration reason:

Due to the characteristics of Shopify, many functions need to be realized by installing various APPs separately, but the result is that the compatibility between various APPs is not good, especially the problems of some APPs will cause serious website freezes, price display errors and other problems. We have tried various methods to optimize it before, but due to the compatibility issues of the platform and APP, many problems cannot be perfectly solved, especially when the variety of products in our store increases, these problems are particularly obvious, limiting our performance and causing errors. Therefore, after repeated consideration by our team, we finally decided to migrate the store to a new platform.

The main differences between the old and new stores:

After everyone's efforts in the past few days, the store has been migrated and everyone can place orders normally. Our products are also being put on the shelves. I hope everyone will continue to pay attention to us. The following are the differences between the old and new stores we have sorted out for friends to understand:

Improvements:

1. The new store supports payment in several major currencies, and buyers no longer need to pay additional PAYPAL exchange fees

2. Buyers can choose the store language and currency type according to their needs

3. The new store is faster, with better overall shopping experience in terms of product inventory, descriptions, comments, questions, etc.

4. Product prices are clearly displayed, and there will be no problem of partial currency display errors.

 

Disadvantages:

1. Products and shipping costs are displayed separately, and it is not possible to provide free shipping for all products like the old store.

JOYTOY WORLD solution: Buyers can directly see the shipping cost and transportation method of the product on the product page.

 

2. Customer information cannot be imported.

JOYTOY WORLD solution: Please re-register in the new store. We have saved your historical information in the company's database, such as historical orders, member points, etc. After the new store member points function is opened (not yet opened), you can contact our customer service and we will manually deposit your points. If you are interested in other types of toys, you can also contact us to deposit your points in our other stores such as YOURWOBB, COOL TOYS CLUB, etc., for the purchase of other types of toys.
